Investment management generally works best where there is an atmosphere of mutual trust and communication. HWM is not a big, impersonal company where you are just another account number. We’re small enough for you to get to know us personally, and we encourage you to do so.
About HWM
HWM was founded in 1995 and is based in Austin, Texas. Our goal is to provide our clients investment strategies that seek to provide “absolute returns” – growth regardless of market conditions. We reject Wall Street’s conventional buy-and-hold philosophy and seek out investment opportunities with the goal of lower risk and consistent returns. In December 2025, HWM was acquired by Wellesley Asset Management, Inc., also an SEC registered investment advisor. Wellesley has been a trusted asset manager with us for over 20 years.
